The first computer that comes with a "bark translator"!- What your dog is really saying.

I have found the newest invention in technology. A computer that is smart enough to understand dog barks. I will put a link to the site if you want to check it out for more info. Basically, they tested over 6000 barks from 14 different hugarien sheep dog. Althought 6000 different barks where tested, they chose six TYPES of barks to test. They recorded:

• Barks that happen when a stranger comes close to the dogs house.
• Agressive barks during fights.
• Barks before going on walks, or barks of excitment.
• Barks that happen whe you tantalize a dog. (another vocab word. I am on fire!)
• Barks that happen during a game of tug-o-war.
• Barks made when dog was left alone while owner went to shop.

After all the barks were recorded, they were processed into a random order. The computer had to say which bark meant what. The computer got it right 43% of the time, which is close to the human 40%. The surprising thing is that the computer could identify which dog made which bark 52% of the time. ( for those of you who are not the best at math, that is about half of the time) The researcher in charge of the computer said that it could probably work with any animal noise. The next test they do will be with dogs from different breeds. I wonder if they will actually ever make an animal translater. Imagine, your dog says to you "feed me you lower life form!" That would hurt. But who knows, maybe by then, we will be ruled by computerised robots.

Furry friends, and human ones!

Today felt like opposite day! My dog slept on my bed, where my cat usually is, and my cat slept in my dogs bed! I was sooo cunfuzzeled (confused) I think my cat just wanted to annoy my dog. She really hates him, don't know why though! By the way, it was my birthday on saturday! I got amazing gifts, including this great bag that my friend got me!!!
Doesn't it look all jeany and goegrgeous? Ya, and ya know why? Cause she got it in Disneyland in Japan, ya! And that is why she is the nicest person that I have ever met. She even decorated my locker amazingly! (She made it look like a big present!) She always thinks of me and shares all her Jolly Ranchers with me. Well... not all of them, but you get the idea! I don't know what I would do without her. She helps me cope with stress, helps me with my math, not that I need help or anything, but she explains everything so that i can really understand it... What was I saying? Oh ya! Basically, she is the best friend anybody could wish for. She's my bosom buddy! Nice use of vocab, hunh? Well, that about all there is for today folks, so tune in next time! It's raining cats & dogs!

I hate the weather, especially when it rains ALL THE TIME!!! Like yesterday, it was pretty nice weather until that one lightning bolt hit, then it rained for two hours straight! And the worst part is the smell. Not that the rain smells, but it's the fact that I have a dog who just loves to walk around in the rain. And then, my dog sits on all the chairs and leaves the smell everywhere. It makes my cat look nice. She loves to sit down on my math books while I am doing my homework! It makes me feel like doing my homework even less. totally off topic, but I am really mad at my English teacher. She is making us start a unit about comparing novels by the same authors. And you know what that means! Essays.. :(. Ya, I have 'em and hate 'em too. So, whoever invented essays had better watch out, cuz he has just made my hate list. And once your on, there is no way of getting off. So...
